The Opportunity

Are you a creative and detail-driven graphics professional looking to make an impact? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Graphics Consultant to join our supportive and well-established Graphics Team.

While it would be great if you’re within a commutable distance of our Cirencester office, this isn’t essential. We embrace flexible working and support home working for part of the week.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented and highly organised team player to support our in-house technical teams on a diverse range of planning and development projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and interrogating GIS data;
  • Data capture and analysis; and
  • Assisting with the creation of technical plans and feasibility reports.

Your Skills

To thrive at EDP, you’ll need more than just the right qualifications and experience – we’re looking for someone who is:

  • Personable, proactive, and passionate about their work;
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal and visual presentation skills; and
  • A highly skilled graphics professional with first-class computer skills.

You’ll need to be proficient in GIS software – we currently use QGIS – and experience in the following software would be highly desirable:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop);
  • AutoCAD, Vectorworks; and
  • SketchUp.

A strong understanding of Ordnance Survey mapping and geographical data sets is essential, and knowledge of property, construction, or environmental planning would be beneficial.

At EDP, we’re passionate about learning and development, and you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Team Members to develop your skills and grow your career.

A full, valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.

EDP Benefits

We offer a very competitive benefits package, which includes: three whole team socials a year; 5% employer pension contributions; private health insurance; life assurance; 30 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays and birthday holiday); TOIL system; hybrid and flexible working; a profit share bonus scheme; and many more!

What do you need to do now?

To apply, please email your CV, work examples or a portfolio, and a covering letter to the HR Team - teamedp@edp-uk.co.uk.
